Good news, the weather in Tacoma is finally starting to lift and normal operations should resume with our local Port and FedEx early this week.

This means stock should be delivered to TRUE HQ early to mid this week and orders start shipping by the end of the week, finishing up next week!

Weather conditions continue to complicate and inhibit normal operations. Icy temps are to continue through the rest of the week and more snow is likely to accumulate. TRUE is doing all we can to prep shipments so we can have them ready when FedEx resumes service.

The local Tacoma Port is still closed but we are hopeful to receive more stock once the weather allows.

Snow and icy temps have hit the Greater Tacoma area (12/26-12/27) so the local Tacoma Port is closed.

The good news is that some of our stock will deliver as soon as the weather permits so orders should be shipping in the first week of January!

As we approach our anticipated shipment window, we wanted to share the latest updates we have on our inventory and why we initially communicated 12/15 as our anticipated shipment date. First though, we want to sincerely thank you for your patience and understanding and please know we are doing everything we can to expedite the arrival of our stock so that we can fulfill your order as soon as possible.

Background:The initial schedule that our team was provided indicated inventory would land at the Port of Tacoma in mid-late November. As we’ve never experienced a delay greater than a week after inventory arrived at the port to be transported to our warehouse, we comfortably settled on the ship date of 12/15. Unforeseen delays on the water pushed the arrival of our shipment to the port back until this past weekend, 12/10. Although our team has been in daily communication with all parties involved, struggles between the port and local trucking companies have left us here at TRUE in the middle and we do not have a clear picture or timeline for delivery of inventory to our warehouse as of this writing.

What is next? We are diligently pushing for updates from our contacts at the port and with our local logistics experts. We are hoping to have a clearer picture to share later this week and that our stock begins to arrive by the end of this week or early next week.

PRODUCT

Comfort! Our shoes are light, flexible, and easy to wear. We select the best materials and implement the best construction methods to ensure comfort and protection on the course (and off if you so choose).

TRUEs are designed to accommodate the natural shape of the foot. A snug fit heel section and wider toe box allow the foot to function naturally, comfortably. Depending on the model, our shoes accommodate a regular to wide width (D-E) and sometimes extra wide widths (EE-EEE) per the wider toe box. Looking for widest options, check out our Original platform models (OG Feel, Original or OG Premium).

Yes, our TRUE knit II is a great option for women or juniors as it is available in Men's 4 (Youth 4) which converts to a women's 5.5/6. Many of our other models are considered unisex, so you can always convert sizing by 1.5 sizes i.e. a M7.5 converts to a W9.

Zero heel-to-toe drop refers to your heel, midfoot and toe being on the same level - there is no extra cushion under your heel. The heel-to-toe drop in cushion is zero hence, zero drop. See our fit guide for more info.

Our shoes are built on a natural platform meaning they allow your foot to function naturally as when you are not wearing shoes. Our shoes do not feature traditional arch support but are flatter,  more flexible, wider in the toe box and based on a neutral platform with minimal to zero heel-to-toe drop to allow your feet to function naturally. This allows for full range of motion and flexibility to allow your feet full mobility.

We have in the past but all current models feature a performance spikeless outsole. Our stance is simple, besides being motivated to make shoes that can adapt to whatever terrain you face (i.e. rubber spikeless outsoles), spikes are pretty uncomfortable. Besides that research indicates our spikeless outsoles perform just as well in any lie or condition. Be comfortable, play well, #enjoythewalk

Yes, some of our models boast the best waterproofing available in the industry (Original, Original 1.2, OG Sport, OG Premium, Lux Sport, Lux Knit and Lux Pro). We utilize full bootie waterproofing technology, often only used in extreme outdoor shoes, tested to three times the industry standard (50k-100K+ Step Dynamic WP Test to be nerdy about it). We guarantee this waterproof bootie to keep you dry on and off the course for 2 years (warranty offers 1 replacement pair within first 2 years of purchase).

Of course. You can add your own orthotics and inserts or simply replace it with one of ours.

While TRUEs are comfy enough to wear without socks, we do suggest wearing socks to assist with moisture management and that added layer for comfort. If you prefer to go sock-less, go for it, you can always run your insoles through the delicate wash cycle to keep them fresh. TRUEs are not treated with any antimicrobial treatment.

SHIPPING

Continental US, HI & AK, and Canada currently. We are hoping to expand to other regions and countries in the future! We have some international distribution partners in Australia/New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Taiwan, see more about our international partners here.

All US orders are shipped via FedEx ground service from our HQ in Tacoma, Washington. If you can’t wait that long, we’ve got you covered with EXPEDITED options.

Orders to PR, APO or US territories are shipped via USPS priority mail for a flat rate.

Orders to Canada are shipped via FedEx Standard (there is a flat rate per the quantity of shoes: $30 USD for 1-2 pairs, $60 USD for 3-4 pairs).

Approximate FedEx transit times and map:

Domestic: Free for all orders over $99. Ordering less? We offer a flat shipping fee of $10 for ground. In a hurry? We don't blame you - just pay the difference and we'll get your TRUEs to you in 1-3 business days once they ship. ($15 for 2 day and $49 for overnight per pair)

PR, APO or US territories: Orders are shipped via USPS priority mail for a flat rate of $15 for 1-2 pair.

Canada: We ship via FedEx Standard (there is a flat rate per the quantity of shoes: $30 USD for 1-2 pairs, $60 USD for 3-4 pairs). You may be responsible for the duties and taxes. Contact your local customs authority for an idea of what those fees may be.

Orders placed via our website should arrive in 3-6 business days with standard shipping. If you select a quicker mode of transportation, expect to see them even sooner!

Shoes, apparel and gear can be returned/exchanged when new/unworn within 30 days of receipt. We offer free return shipping for exchanges or store credit. If you need a refund, we'll send you a label and a $9 restocking fee will apply (withheld from refund).

First make sure you’re not just standing in a puddle barefoot. Next, if it’s happening while you’re in your waterproof TRUEs, we warranty our footwear for waterproofing for up to 2 years depending on the model (this means 1 replacement pair within 2 years of original purchase).
