ENJOY, HAWAII
Tropical beverages, warm island sun, and a multitude of new friends - our small, yet necessary, checklist of expectations as we walked the jetway to our Honolulu bound flight. That’s not to say we didn’t have a proactive agenda of some product testing and R&D work, but we’d be lying if we strictly called it a “work trip”. Hawaii boasts a rich variety of sights, sounds, and unique courses - the charming, calming allure almost called us by name. As we took our seats and watched our clubs load onto the plane from the tarmac (just to ensure no funny business), we reclined our seat, ordered a stiff beverage, and took off into the winds toward a week in beautiful Oahu.
GOLFING IN PARADISE:
The island of Oahu is home to some absolutely world class courses. The PGA has graced the shores of Maui, Lanai, Kauai and of course Oahu. The island’s phenomenal weather, varying topography, and natural beauty, allude themselves to first class courses and resorts. Oahu’s Royal Hawaiian Golf Club, Kapolei, Ala Wai and Turtle Bay all come top of mind, when cataloging top notch greens. If time isn’t on your side, we recommend you venture to the north and south ends of the island to play Turtle Bay and Ala Wei. You can’t go wrong!
