“I just wanted to prove I belonged.”

Jermaine Kearse’s story begins in the heart of Tacoma — where every snap, every route, and every second on the field carried weight. His rise from high school standout to Super Bowl champion wasn’t just a path paved by talent, but by relentless ambition and deep-rooted Pacific Northwest pride.

“From the first time I caught a pass, I knew I wasn’t going to settle,” he says. “My only goal was to go further than anyone expected. I never looked back.”

This isn’t just a football story. It’s a blueprint for grit, loyalty, and fearless belief — born and bred in the PNW.

Kearse has always been a hometown hero. From electrifying Friday nights at Lakes High School to a standout career at the University of Washington, his journey has been etched into the fabric of the region. Though undrafted, he refused to let circumstance define him. Instead, he rose — becoming an essential weapon in the Seattle Seahawks’ iconic 2013–2014 Super Bowl run, etching his name into local and league history.
