PBAX® is a high-performance polymer foam — the most advanced fatigue-reduction platform available. It’s lightweight, highly flexible, and returns massive energy, lessening the load on your joints for the most comfortable walk yet while giving you explosive ground-force reaction.
A thin, lightweight nylon layer inside the midsole that smooths energy transfer and improves leverage and stability. We chose nylon over carbon because it’s more forgiving — enhancing efficiency while limiting muscular fatigue.
Absolutely. The bathtub design cradles your foot lower into the midsole, so you sit closer to the ground — with only a minimal 4mm drop — while still getting every benefit of PBAX®.
With any waterproof shoe there’s a breathability tradeoff. To fight it, we built a perforated tongue that expels trapped heat as you walk — keeping you cooler while retaining the 1-year waterproof guarantee.
