Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (The Players Stadium Course) –– Team TRUE showed out at the '24 Players Championship. Featuring the strongest field of the regular season, the event has long been lauded the TOUR's fifth major.
Both Joel Dahmen and Taylor Montgomery recorded top-15s––each finishing T-11. Dahmen fired a Friday 67 to make the cut, climbed up the leaderboard on moving day with a subsequent 67, and finished the championship with a Sunday 68, earning him his highest finish of the season. While Dahmen's season has experienced some ebbs and flows, Montgomery has shown consistent form in his second full season on TOUR, making 7 of 8 cuts and recording 3 top 20 finishes. Montgomery's T-11 performance at The Players marks his best finish of the season, and he currently sits at 56th on the FedEx Cup points list.
Dylan Wu also found some form at The Players. Wu finished T-19 after weekend rounds of 69 and a Sunday 67, propelling him to his best finish of the season at the TOUR's flagship event.
Continuing with the theme of consistency, both Chris Kirk and Mark Hubbard enjoyed respected finishes of T-26 and T-31. This season, Kirk has made 7 of 8 cuts, including 2 top 25s and a win at The Sentry. His unwavering play positions him comfortably inside the top 10 of the FedEx Cup point race. Mark Hubbard has been a model of consistency this season as well, making the cut in all 8 events played thus far. His T-31 finish at The Players featured rounds of 68, 73, 72, and a Sunday 68. Hubbard has recorded 2 top 25s and a top 10 this season, highlighted by a T-4 performance at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Hubbard looks to continue one of his best seasons on TOUR, currently sitting at 38 on the FedEx Cup points list.
Our very own Ryan Moore recorded his best finish of the season at The Players. Moore's T-45 finish featured rounds of 70, 69, 73, and 72 at one of the season's most difficult layouts. Moore will look to carry this positive form to his next appearance at the Valspar Championship.
Both Moore and Kirk strode the Sawgrass fairways in the All Day Ripstop V2, each in two recently released colorways––Cloud White and Natural Black. Montgomery, Moore, and Hubbard all stayed cool and comfortable in the Florida heat wearing our All Day Polo. Staying true to his roots, Dylan Wu battled to his best finish of the season wearing the classic LUX Pro. We can't forget to mention fan-favorite Joel Dahmen, who rocked the LUX Tour on his way to a top 15.
